We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Leader to lead projects in the development and manufacturing of semiconductor products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, semiconductor manufacturing, and team leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery, and driving process improvements.
In your new job you will:
* Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
* Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation plans, and risk management plans
* Lead cross-functional teams, including Design, Test, Characterization, Quality, Front End, and Back End teams, and drive ambitious (short cycle) schedules
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and timelines aligned with dynamic business needs
* Analyze and resolve project-related issues using advanced problem-solving skills and root cause analysis
* Ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards
* Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and customers, employing active listening and conflict management skills
* Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A university degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline
* 6+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the semiconductor industry
* Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including GaN HEMT, IGBT, Diode, and SiC technologies
* Proven track record of managing projects with multiple stakeholders and teams
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think outside the box
* Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, iProjEx, and Jama
* Strong understanding of quality and reliability standards
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Nice to have:
* Experience with lean procedures and process improvements
* Knowledge of document management, front-end testing processes, and data review
* Experience with conflict management and negotiation
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience, and qualifications. Employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/). The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year, with higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
