Signarama Norwood is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager & Team Leader to take ownership of our production department and lead our workshop team. This senior leadership role oversees production operations, drives efficiency, maintains quality standards, and leads a high‑performing team. Working closely with the General Manager, sales team, and design team, you’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the high standard our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop the production team
* Oversee daily workshop operations and production scheduling
* Manage workflow to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
* Maintain high standards of quality control across all signage products
* Collaborate with the General Manager, sales team, and design team to plan and deliver projects
* Drive continuous improvement of production systems, processes, and efficiencies
* Manage subcontractors and external suppliers as required
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
* Maintain a clean, organised, and productive workshop environment
* Provide clear leadership, accountability, and direction to the production team
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience as a Production Manager, Workshop Manager, Operations Manager, or a similar leadership role
* Signage industry experience highly regarded, but not essential
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage a team
* Excellent organisational, planning, and problem‑solving abilities
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
* Experience within manufacturing, print, signage, fabrication, construction, or related industries
* Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
* Current driver's licence
* Experience with signage software such as Flexi, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar is advantageous
