Responsibilities
* Coach, support, mentor and challenge managers and employees in the application of HR policies and practices; provide advice and guidance on complex HR issues to minimize risk and financial exposure
* Act as a true Business Partner to bring added value to the business by understanding business needs and linking them to tailored HR solutions
* Manage HR projects across multi-disciplinary areas, including compensation and benefits, performance management, people management, employee relations and change management
* Participate in setting and executing against the strategic direction of the business
* Liaise with senior management to understand business requirements and tailor specific HR solutions
* Work across the HR function and business to ensure interventions are integrated in a way that supports organizational objectives
* Drive and support the development and delivery of cultural change
* Act as primary point of contact for HR policy issues
* Operate as a contact person for internal centers of excellence
* Work closely with the HR Director and support this function in various projects
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
* Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Business Partner
* Business proficiency in English; fluent in German
* Pharmaceutical/medical devices/life sciences industry experience would be an advantage
* Expert knowledge of Austrian labor law
* Experience working in an international environment
* Experience in a complex matrix environment would be an advantage

* Ability to work at both strategic and maintenance levels to ensure systems/policies are in place and compliant
* Strong ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects

Additional information
As an employer, we value diversity and support people in developing their potential and strengths. The minimum salary for this position under the collective agreement is € 2,807.00 gross per month; salary packages are based on current market salaries and may be higher.
