Functions & Events Manager – Terra & Sol (Glenelg)
Terra & Sol is a family‑run business located in the heart of Glenelg. We’re looking for an organised and creative Functions & Events Manager to lead and grow our private events and functions offering.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, managing events from enquiry through to execution, and creating memorable experiences for guests.
Role Overview
* 4–5 days per week on a roster
* Weekend availability required for events
* Manage and coordinate private functions, celebrations, and group bookings
* Work closely with the owners and hospitality team to deliver seamless events
Key Responsibilities
* Manage event enquiries, bookings, and client communication
* Plan and coordinate functions including birthdays, corporate events, and private celebrations
* Liaise with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to organise menus and event logistics
* Oversee event setup, service, and pack‑down
* Ensure excellent guest experience during all functions
* Assist with promoting the venue as a functions and events destination
* Maintain event calendars, booking systems, and client records
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in hospitality, events, or venue coordination preferred
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines
* Friendly, professional, and customer‑focused approach
* Ability to work weekends and evenings when required
* Self‑motivated and comfortable working in a small, hands‑on team
