Profusion Group are currently recruiting for a seasoned CRO/Head of Credit Risk on behalf of a rapidly growing Financial Services firm focused on providing innovative solutions and maintaining a strong focus on risk management and regulatory strategy. The Chief Risk Officer will be responsible for shaping and leading the firm's credit risk strategy and frameworks, working closely with the Senior ExCo and Board ensuring a balance between commercial growth and prudent risk management.Role OverviewDefine and embed the company's credit risk strategy and apatite while developing and maintain the credit risk framework and policies.Provide independent oversight of all credit decisioning while serving as chair of the Credit Committee.Review, structure and approve complex credit proposals while guiding credit analysts and deal teams.Monitor the performance of the credit portfoliodrive enhancements in risk modelling and stress testing.Build, mentor and lead a high performing credit risk team.Skills & ExperienceThis opportunity would suit a seasoned, hands on senior credit risk professional who has extensive experience in credit risk leadership within non-bank lending, structured finance and enjoys using risk as an avenue of driving business growth and development.
