For our office in Vienna, we are looking for a passionate and experienced
Senior Airport Planner – 100% (m/f)
to join and help us shape the airports of the future.
You will work on international terminal and master planning projects, from concept to implementation, with a strong emphasis on user flows, operational efficiency, and client value.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and contribute to terminal planning and design projects
2. Perform demand/capacity analyses and develop facility requirements
3. Translate planning concepts into actionable project scopes (schedule, cost, design parameters)
4. Oversee the development of project definition documents and conceptual layouts
5. Support strategic airport planning including general aviation, cargo, and support functions
6. Prepare and review Airport Master Plans and Layout Plans
7. Identify improvements using simulation, modeling, and capacity optimization
8. Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
9. Mentor and guide junior staff
10. Contribute to business development activities in terminal planning
11. Prepare funding documentation and support grant applications
Requirements:
12. Degree in Aeronautics, Aviation Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
13. At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in airport or transportation planning
14. Minimum 3 years in a leadership or coordination role
15. Strong analytical and conceptual design skills
16. Experience in stakeholder engagement and project delivery
17. Fluent in English; German is a plus

22. The salary for this position will be at least € 4150.- per month based on full-time employment. Overpayment may be negotiable based on qualifications and experience
