For our office in Vienna, we are looking for a passionate and experienced
Senior Strategic Aviation Manager – 100% (m/f)
to join and help us shape the airports of the future.
You will lead and contribute to high-impact airport strategy and development projects worldwide. You'll work closely with stakeholders to define, assess, and implement airport strategies, investment plans, and operational improvements.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop airport business strategies, investment programs, and long-term development plans
2. Lead market assessments, feasibility studies, and traffic forecasts
3. Support airport privatization and transaction advisory processes
4. Analyze and optimize commercial and operational performance
5. Assist clients with strategic planning, regulatory positioning, and stakeholder engagement
6. Prepare business cases and financial models to support investment decisions
7. Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and external partners
8. Represent AC/ARX in client meetings and industry events
9. Support business development efforts and proposal preparation
Requirements:
10. Degree in Aviation Management, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field
11. At least 10 years of professional experience in aviation consulting, strategy, or planning
12. Proven experience working with airport operators, investors, regulators, or airlines
13. Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role is essential
14. Strong knowledge of airport economics, master planning, and commercial strategy
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
16. Confident communicator with leadership experience
17. Fluent in English; additional languages (especially German or French) are an asset
18. Willingness to travel occasionally for international projects

24. The salary for this position will be at least € 90'000.00.- per year based on full-time employment. Overpayment may be negotiable based on qualifications and experience
