Job Summary
As Junior Sales Representative for Western Austria, you will be part of the Terumo Sales Organisation. Your main responsibility is to plan and implement activities that increase market penetration and profitability of the Interventional Cardiology product portfolio (e.g. access – introducer kits, closure devices, catheters & therapeutics: guidewires, stents). Success in this role comes from a therapy‐ and service‐oriented approach, dedication to educational and clinical events and building strong networks with key stakeholders.
The focus will be on Western Austria. You will be reporting to the Sales Manager Interventional Systems Austria.
We offer a fixed-term contract of approximately two years, with the possibility of extension or conversion into a permanent position, depending on business development.
Job Responsibilities
1. Represent Terumo products, technologies and services among customers in your designated geography.
2. Lead account management for the Interventional Cardiology portfolio in partnership with the Sales Manager.
3. Manage administrative tasks and CRM aspects throughout the sales cycle.
4. Drive strategic and commercial development in your territory, regularly presenting outcomes to peers and senior management.
5. Address customer concerns, escalating within the organisation (Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Legal etc.) as needed.
6. Build and maintain networks, proactively acquiring new customers while strengthening existing relationships.
7. Participate in local events and congresses, ensuring strong brand presence and insight into industry trends.
Profile Description
8. Education with a medical, paramedical, or pharmaceutical focus
9. Relevant experience in a similar role or clinical experience is preferred
10. Ability to work effectively in an international team environment
11. Commercially driven with a strong sense of collaboration and team spirit
12. Flexible, able to work independently, and ready to step in where needed
13. Strong organizational skills and a proactive, positive attitude toward change
14. Analytical thinker with solid IT affinity (Power BI, Excel, MS Office, CRM systems)
15. Professional proficiency in German and English
16. Residing in Western Austria
