Talent Pool for Software Engineer (m/f/x) Graz, AUT | Hybrid | Full-time (38.5h/week) or Part-time (min 20h/week) | Start tbd | unsolicited application What you’ll be doing: As a part of an international, agile engineering team, you’ll work on exciting projects in the area of customized solutions OR research and development for our cloud-based enterprise platform. Your future responsibilities will be determined by the team you join and will align with your strengths and interests as positions become available: Your code will be deployed to our worldwide used cloud-based enterprise solutions. You’ll independently implement internal or external customer requirements using modern tech stacks (Java, Spring Boot, Container, Kubernetes, TypeScript, Node, AWS Serverless) You’ll implement innovative software solutions in Java and TypeScript using frameworks like Spring, React, or NodeJs You’ll play an active role in all aspects of the software engineering lifecycle : requirements alignment, software design, implementation, quality assurance, and defect fixing You’ll define, implement automated tests (Cucumber, Playwright, JUnit) ) and improve development processes / tools You’ll develop innovative frontends in TypeScript with React You’ll work with state-of-the-art technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Google, Azure) You’ll use cloud-based infrastructure (CI/CD, code analysis, monitoring As you gain experience, you will take on responsibility, support/guide/coach (and potentially lead) others. What you bring to the role: You have (almost) competed IT education (HTL is minimum; FH, TU - in Software Engineering, Software Design, Cloud Computing, eHealth, Information and Computer Engineering or similar) or gained comparable IT skills as a self-learner. You have first relevant experience in programming, whether professionally, in student / private projects or relevant internships (0,5-3 years’ experience in this field would be beneficial; for HTL-graduates it’s required). You have knowledge in software development with focus on at least one object-oriented language ( Java and/or C#, Typescrip t, Python ) - that’s a must. Experience with Web-development would be a benefit; affinity with Kubernetes, Web UI Engineering, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, etc. – that’s a nice to have. You are continuously improving your skills; work independently, keen to network and know when it's time to fall back on it. You are eager to learn and have the potential to take on responsibility and support / coach others. You are an inspiring team player, listen to others actively and follow up with constructive outcome-oriented ideas. You have excellent communication skills in English and can explain complex issues in a target group-orientated way. You have valid work and resident permit for Austria. Compensation : The minimum salary (considering Austrian IT collective agreement) is EUR 3.200,- gross per month on a full time basis.
