Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 45,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.As an Operational Buyer, you are responsible for the entire operational procurement process – from request and ordering to order confirmation and handling complaints. You manage the sourcing of active and passive electronic components as well as procurement for Facility Management. In close collaboration with strategic procurement, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you coordinate multiple topics in parallel and primarily use SAP and JIRA as your key tools.Key TasksOperational Procurement: End-to-end handling from demand clarification to complaints, including RFQs, orders, confirmations, and delivery trackingSourcing: Procurement of active and passive components, ensuring material availability and coordinating prices and lead timesFacility Management: Sourcing of services and goods, including requirement definition, quote comparison, ordering, and bookingStakeholder Management: Close collaboration with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and international affiliates, including escalation handlingSystems & Processes: Use of SAP and JIRA for order processing, workflow management, prioritization, and continuous process improvementKey QualificationsQualifications & Experience: Commercial education or equivalent qualification, plus 2–3+ years of experience in operational procurement or materials planning, ideally within a technical environmentSystems Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with SAP in purchasing and approval processes, as well as experience with JIRA or similar workflow toolsTechnical Know-how: Confident handling of electronic components and understanding of bills of materials, minimum order quantities, and lead timesWork Style & Languages: Strong communication and service-oriented mindset, well-organized, resilient, and able to manage multiple tasks in parallel; very good German and English skillsNice-to-have: Experience in facility management procurement (services and materials), knowledge of complaint and warranty processes, Incoterms, basic customs/export understanding, and awareness of quality and IT security requirements in the supply chainOur ValuesAround 2,500 employees are committed to creating a safer world with their innovative strength and technology orientation.
