Your Responsibilities
* Writing a dissertation at the University of Graz in the field of Adult and Continuing Education
* Collaborating on research projects in the field of Adult and Continuing Education
* Independent publication and lecturing activities
* Participation in the application process for third‑party funded projects
* Independent teaching of courses and examinations in the Bachelor's programme in Educational Science, as well as collaboration on teaching and examination tasks of the Department of Educational Science
* Supervision of students
* Collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures
Your Profile
* Above‑average degree in a major subject in educational science (Master’s) or comparable degree
* Empirical and theoretical knowledge in the fields of adult and continuing education and adult learning
* Basic skills in qualitative and/or quantitative methods of empirical research
* Academic interest in addressing current research questions on, e.g. social transformation processes, including from a critical, historical and/or gender‑ and diversity‑reflective perspective
* Sensitivity to gender‑specific issues
* Excellent knowledge of German and competent knowledge of English for conferences and publications
* Independent working style and initiative
* Strong team and organisational skills
* Interdisciplinary understanding
