* Drive new mechanical developments in concept and feasibility state referring to fundamental new approaches for future applications.
* Involve problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration with other specialists to bring ideas from concept to reality.
* Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, evaluation, and validation to a diverse audience in design reviews.
* Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure solutions can be manufactured with high-quality, cost-optimized, and to requirements.
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to more junior engineers.
Who we're looking for
* MSc in in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Physics or Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
* Experience in the semiconductor industry
* Strong analyzing skills and numerical ability
* Good oral and written communication skills in English
* MS Office knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the semiconductor industry
* Experience with CAD, Inventor or NX (or similar CAD software) is beneficial
* Technical knowledge of mechanical design and simulations/calculations is beneficial
What We're Offering
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry ( in the occupation group F depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
