A global medical device company is expanding its orthopaedics commercial team in Austria and is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager focused on hip and knee replacement.
This role owns regional growth, key hospital relationships and surgeon engagement across Austria, with full responsibility for sales performance and territory strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Full sales ownership for hip and knee replacement across an assigned Austrian territory
Build and manage long term relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, theatre teams and hospital stakeholders
Drive case support, product adoption and conversion in complex joint replacement procedures
Develop and execute territory business plans aligned to national objectives
Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management and CRM reporting
Partner closely with marketing, clinical education and leadership teams
Your background
Proven sales success in orthopaedics with strong exposure to hip and knee replacement
Track record of managing surgeon led sales cycles in hospital environments
Strong clinical understanding of joint reconstruction procedures
Experience owning territory strategy and delivering against revenue targets
Commercially driven with high personal accountability
Fluent German with strong professional English
