Job Summary
The Customer Service / Service Delivery Specialist (d/w/m) provides central support to field service engineers located in the DACH region. The role involves planning and coordinating service visits, processing service orders, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams. This is an on‑site position based in Wien/Vienna and reports to the Service Delivery Manager DACH.
Responsibilities
* Handle incoming customer enquiries promptly and professionally via telephone or e‑mail.
* Collaborate closely with the field service team and customers to ensure service visits are planned and carried out smoothly.
* Process and track service orders, contracts, spare parts orders, and returns in coordination with internal departments.
* Generate timely invoicing for completed service orders in the DACH region in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications
* Completed commercial or technical apprenticeship.
* Several years’ professional experience in customer service or an international environment.
* Technical understanding of microscope technology (preferred).
* Proficiency in SAP R/3, Salesforce, and MS Office (advantage).
* Structured, team‑oriented work approach.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
* Very good command of German and English.
Location & Compensation
Location: Vienna, Austria (on‑site). Minimum gross annual salary €40,000 in accordance with the collective agreement for the industrial sector. Salary may increase based on qualifications and experience. The position is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
