Role Overview
As a Senior Product Manager in Application Observability, you will be responsible for the product providing runtime insights to development teams to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize their cloud-native applications. Application Observability is part of our Observability solution, offering a unified view across the full stack—from applications to infrastructure and user experience—powered by our AI, Davis, which analyzes billions of dependencies to pinpoint root causes, reduce alert storms, and enable proactive actions.
Responsibilities
* Drive the development and execution of the product roadmap, contributing to both near-term and long-term strategy targeting developers and DevOps engineers.
* Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product direction.
* Identify new product opportunities through customer feedback and market analysis, leveraging core technologies and strengths.
* Understand user problems and collaborate with the design team to develop user flows and wireframes for optimal user experience.
* Lead pre-release activities to gather early adopter feedback and iterate on solutions.
* Create compelling product blog posts to engage customers.
* Partner with marketing to develop messaging, go-to-market strategies, and enable sales teams; guide customer-facing teams in deploying new features.
* Own outcomes by managing priorities across dispersed teams, anticipating risks, and developing mitigation plans.
* Represent the product at events and conferences, engaging face-to-face with customers.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of product management experience, with success in setting and executing product roadmaps based on research, data, and industry trends.
* Experience as a Backend or DevOps engineer, developing Cloud Native applications is advantageous.
* Technical expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Lambda, and similar technologies; experience with Go, .Net, and Java is a plus.
* Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps practices, observability tools, and troubleshooting.
* Proven ability to bring new features to market, develop go-to-market strategies, and measure success with KPIs.
* Deep understanding of customer needs, use cases, and aligning product vision accordingly.
* End-to-end mindset to maintain clarity of vision and focus during execution.
* Strong leadership, initiative, influence, patience, and teamwork skills.
* Sufficient technical understanding to assess technical tradeoffs and risks.
* Excellent prioritization, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
