Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of Biologics in Respiratory? As a Key Account Manager in Respiratory, you will be at the forefront of strategic account management, driving the performance of our Biologics portfolio. Your role will involve driving a successful launch by identifying new business opportunities, forging strong relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, and crafting tailored business development strategies to achieve ambitious goals. Accountabilities
4. Represent AstraZeneca standards and values in all external interactions
5. Proactively identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within the managed portfolio
6. Develop and implement account strategies and business concepts aligned with account needs, including defining objectives, milestones, and measures
7. Prepare and execute account plans, ensuring all activities comply with internal and external codes and regulations
8. Identify, build, and further develop network structures (physicians, patients, diagnostics, etc.)
9. Forge strategic partnerships and provide support to key stakeholders in hospitals and private practices
10. Conduct highly scientific, customer- and patient-focused discussions
11. Deliver internal and/or external specialist presentations as required
12. Engage in continuous development in science, sales, and systems
13. Collaborate cross-functionally with Franchise Leads, field colleagues, brand teams, and patient safety
14. Share market insights to help drive marketing, sales, and medical excellence
15. Mentor colleagues as appropriate
16. Complete monthly reports, including competitive analysis and intelligence
17. Perform segmentation and targeting activities
18. Plan, manage, and take responsibility for budgets
Essential Skills/Experience
19. Pharmareferent exam or scientific degree in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, or veterinary medicine
20. Knowledge of Austrian pharmaceutical and healthcare market; hospital experience will be preferred
21. Proven sales, key account management, and negotiation skills
22. Advanced product and therapy expertise
23. Excellent planning, management, and presentation abilities
24. Proficient with CRM systems and MS Office
25. Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
26. Customer focus, teamwork, and results-driven mindset
27. Outstanding selling and negotiation abilities
28. Confident, resilient, and flexible approach
29. Fluent English (spoken and written)
30. Category B driving license
31. High motivation, attention to detail, able to perform under pressure
