We are partnering with a globally recognised crypto exchange to appoint a
Business Continuity Manager
for its European headquarters. This role is central to strengthening the firm's
business continuity, disaster recovery, and regulatory resilience framework
as it scales under EU supervisory regimes, including
DORA
.
The successful candidate will work closely with ICT Risk, Security, and Business leaders to ensure that critical services remain resilient in the face of operational, technology, and third-party disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the
design, development, and maintenance
of enterprise-wide business continuity policies, standards, and control frameworks.
* Own and continuously enhance
business continuity and disaster recovery strategies
aligned to regulatory and supervisory expectations.
* Conduct
business impact analyses (BIA)
and operational risk assessments to identify critical functions, tolerances, and recovery priorities, in close collaboration with the ICT Risk Manager.
* Translate risk and impact assessments into
practical, executable continuity plans
across business and technology functions.
* Partner with senior stakeholders and operational teams to ensure
consistent adoption and alignment
with continuity policies.
* Coordinate planning, testing, and review cycles, including
scenario testing and resilience exercises
.
* Support regulatory engagement and internal governance related to
operational resilience and continuity controls
.
* Contribute to broader EU resilience, risk, and control initiatives as the organisation matures its regulatory operating model.
Candidate Profile
* Degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology
, or a related discipline.
* 3–5+ years' experience
within financial services, fintech, or regulated environments, with solid exposure to
banking or prudential regulation
.
* Hands-on experience supporting or implementing
business continuity, disaster recovery, or operational resilience frameworks
.
* First-hand exposure to
DORA
or comparable ICT / operational resilience regulations is highly advantageous.
* Proven ability to deliver
projects and control implementations
across multiple stakeholders.
* Strong analytical, communication, and independent problem-solving capabilities.
* Comfortable operating in a
fast-paced, high-growth, regulated environment

* Fluent German and English are mandatory
* Must be
based on-site in Vienna
at the EU headquarters.
