Your Responsibilities
* Ownership of container process engineering for new product developments and complex project-specific designs
* Analyze and optimize complex design aspects affecting multiple sub-systems of containerized solutions such as:
* Noise emissions
* Container ventilation
* CFD analysis of multi-unit site layouts considering airflow, temperature distribution, and static pressure differences
* Seismic designs
* Wind and snow load considerations
* Collaborate closely with mechanical and electrical design engineers for containers & BoP components
* Act as key interface to external container manufacturers to define detailed designs
* Participate in customer project meetings to define scope, align project specifications, and determine technical solutions
* Support the creation of RFQ documentation and evaluate, validate, and support ramp-up of new packaging suppliers
* Develop and validate new technologies for new applications, system performance improvements, and cost reductions
Your Profile
* BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Extensive engineering experience with containerized stationary gensets or related fields
* Proven track record in complex product development and project execution
* Flexible mindset and adaptability to complex customer needs
* Expertise in quality tools and techniques throughout development
* Excellent communication skills in an international environment
* Ability to present technical topics to diverse audiences
* Fluent in English and German
* Willingness to travel extensively (>30%)
* Valid work permit for Austria (non-EU citizens must attach permit to application)
The base salary is at least EUR 4,673.74 gross per month (x 14), plus additional compensation based on experience and qualifications.
