The Opportunity
We are looking for a UX-driven frontend engineer who cares deeply about how people actually use products. You will own core user journeys, shape interaction patterns, and help turn complex data into understandable interfaces. Your work will directly influence how customers explore and act on their visibility data.
This is one of our first product and UX hires, so you will have plenty of room to shape our product and our way of working.
What You'll Do
* Own and improve Rankscale's core customer journeys and interaction patterns.
* Turn user needs into clear UX flows.
* Conduct lightweight discovery such as user interviews, usability tests and feedback reviews.
* Collaborate closely with founders and engineers to guide product decisions with a strong UX perspective.
* Maintain and evolve a simple, scalable design system.
* Translate complex analytics into intuitive, easy-to-understand visual experiences.
* Collaborate with engineers to build the interfaces you design using React, TypeScript, Tailwind and Shadcn UI.
Tech Stack
* Core: React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Shadcn UI
* Testing: Playwright / Jest / Cypress / Vitest
* Visualization: Recharts,, Plotly, or similar
* APIs & Data: BigQuery, Firestore and others
* AI Tools: Copilot, ChatGPT Code Interpreter, automated test-generation frameworks
* Design: Figma
You do not need to master every tool listed, but you should be comfortable working across the frontend stack and learning quickly.
Who You Are
* 3+ years of experience in UX design and frontend engineering.
* Strong passion for UX/UI and turning complexity into clarity.
* Highly visual thinking with strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable owning user journeys from insight to implementation.
* Able to prototype quickly and collaborate closely with engineers.
* Experience working with structured data or analytics interfaces is a plus.
* Communicative, pragmatic and self-driven.
* Excited to shape the experience of a growing AI SaaS product.
Nice-to-Haves
* Experience building or maintaining a design system.
* Background in analytics products, dashboards or visualization-heavy tools.
* Understanding of SEO or GEO concepts.
