We are looking for a visionary and experienced leader to head the Cube-based Reporting & Analytics department at Erste Group Services GmbH. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the full spectrum of granular and statistical regulatory reporting for a large number of Austrian Savings Banks and AT-subsidiaries.
You will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering timely and accurate reports to Austrian and European supervisory authorities, while also driving innovation, digital transformation, and strategic collaboration across the Austrian banking landscape.
Your Key Responsibilities

* Strategic Planning: Define and implement departmental strategies, including budgeting, resource planning, and alignment with the objectives of the Austrian subsidiaries and savings banks of the Erste Group.

* Project & Change Management: Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects and agile Tribes, especially in the areas of reporting automation and data analyses.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sister departments, business units, and Erste Digital to ensure seamless integration of reporting processes.
* Process Optimization: Continuously improve reporting workflows and data quality through harmonization, automation, and the adoption of modern collaboration models.
* Technology Enablement: Leverage advanced tools and technologies—including AI and data analytics platforms—to meet evolving regulatory and business needs.
* Representation & Advocacy: Represent the AT-subsidiaries and savings banks of the Erste Group in national and international working groups (e.g., OeNB, Austrian Reporting GmbH, ECB/EBA committees), contributing to the future of regulatory reporting in Europe.
Your Profile
* University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Business Informatics)
* Minimum 5 years of deep expertise in external regulatory/statistical reporting, with proven leadership experience
* Strong project management background, ideally in data-driven or regulatory environments
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes
* In-depth knowledge of supervisory frameworks and reporting standards (e.g., AUREP, BIRD, IREF)
* Familiarity with Austrian and European regulatory bodies (e.g., OeNB, ECB)
* Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
* Experience with modern data platforms, reporting tools, and AI-driven solutions is a strong advantage
* A proactive, strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
