Job description
As an RM & EDA Infrastructure Specialist, you will develop and maintain our Requirement Management (RM) platform (currently Codebeamer), support integration workflows, and contribute to shaping the Unix based EDA environment used across R&D for chip-design. You combine a developer mindset with solid infrastructure understanding and help engineering teams work efficiently with our toolchain.
Responsibilities
* Configure and enhance RM trackers, workflows, permissions, and templates
* Support RM integrations with Jira, Git, Jenkins, and CAD/EDA tool environments
* Ensure RM governance, data quality, and platform reliability
* Develop automation solutions and scripts (REST API, Python, Bash)
* Collaborate with IT to evolve the Unix based EDA infrastructure
* Provide support and create training materials for engineering teams
Qualifications
* 5+ years of relevant professional experience with a finished degree in a technical field (eg physics, informatics, electrical engineering ,…)
* Experience in regulated industries (semiconductor, automotive, aerospace,…)
* Experience with RM platforms (Codebeamer preferred)
* Understanding of R&D needs and EDA tool environments
* Solid Unix/Linux skills (shell scripting, environment configuration)
* Hands on experience with software-development, automation and API based integrations
* Strong communication and problem solving skills
* Mandatory English language skills with additional German as a plus
