About the Role: Do you love coffee, baked goodies, and creating amazing customer experiences? Noisette Bakery is looking for a passionate Assistant Café Manager to join our Port Melbourne café. You’ll work side by side with our Café Manager, helping the team run smoothly, keeping standards high, and making sure every customer leaves with a smile.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting the Café Manager in running day-to-day café operations, including cash handling, stock, and staff
Providing top-notch customer service and creating a welcoming experience for everyone
Keeping our food and drinks looking and tasting their best
Helping the team grow by coaching and mentoring them
Assisting with fun marketing and promotional activities
Making sure health, safety, and hygiene standards are always met
Who We’re Looking For:
Someone with experience leading a team in a café (supervisor or assistant manager experience is perfect!)
Passionate about making customers happy and going the extra mile
Great at coaching and inspiring a team, leading by example
Coffee experience is a bonus, but not essential
Comfortable with stock and labour control
Able to open and close the café, with availability from 5:30 am – 6:00 pm
Flexible across a 7-day roster, with one weekend day off per week
