Working as a web developer in the Barracuda Campus team, you will contribute to our learning platform that delivers know-how to our users worldwide and take ownership of CI/CD and infrastructure projects that Barracuda Campus relies on. Our team collaborates with a wide range of other employees, like technical trainers, technical writers, and the CloudOps team, as well as with other internal and external stakeholders. What you'll be working on
* Take ownership of our CI/CD process and infrastructure projects
* Write efficient, testable, and reusable PHP code
* Work together in an agile team and solve complex problems
* Deliver tested and sustainable outcomes
What you bring to the role
* Ideally 5+ years of web development, DevOps experience or equivalent educational background
* Working experience with AWS or other cloud providers
* Ability to solve DevOps challenges that come with modern and complex web applications
* You have worked with PHP frameworks, such as Kohana, Symfony or Laravel
* Knowledge of relational databases
* Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as CSS, JavaScript, etc.
* Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: Elasticsearch, Google Cloud APIs, Jira, GitHub, Ansible, Terraform
