As Sous Chef, you are more than the right hand of the Head Chef – you’re a role model, communicator and motivator. You ensure quality, support structure and work side by side with our team of ambitious Chef de Parties, Commis and support staff – in a kitchen where excellence, teamwork and high volume meet.
What you bring with you
* Completed culinary training and several years of leadership experience in a professional kitchen.
* A genuine passion for both cooking and leading people – with high standards and clear communication.
* Structured, independent workstyle – even during high-volume, high-pressure moments.
* Strong team spirit, loyalty and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Experience with HACCP, food cost control, scheduling and kitchen organization.
* Very good German skills and solid industry-specific English.

Your tasks
* Co-lead the entire kitchen team alongside the Head Chef – during lunch, dinner, Après-Ski and events.
* Coordinate workflows between stations and support your team operationally where needed.
* Oversee mise en place, quality control and stock handling across the kitchen.
* Step in for the Head Chef during absence and take responsibility for team and processes.
* Train & mentor new team members, apprentices and interns with professionalism and patience.
* Contribute to menu development – seasonal, regional and well-executed in practice.
* Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP) in all areas of the kitchen.
