The Meetinghouse Facilities Department is seeking a qualified, dynamic, customer orientated professional, responsible for managing real estate transactions, project teams and resources in Europe. This individual will work collaboratively with leaders, project teams, local real estate professionals to identify and secure facilities where local members and friends of the Church can worship, teach, learn, pray together, make and renew covenants, and receive sacred ordinances.
Each Church facility that is identified and secured should:
1) Provide a spiritual setting for members to worship.
2) Present an image of reverence and dignity in the community.
1. Responsibilities include the personal execution as well as the management of Church and contract professionals to identify, evaluate, acquire, dispose, manage, negotiate, lease, close, and otherwise conduct activities related to Church real estate interests.
2. Manage projects and professional services providers (corporate services and other disciplines and support processes); prepare/review binding legal documents.
3. Provide technical real estate advice and be a resource for customers and priesthood leaders.
4. Analyze, prepare and deliver presentations for approvals.
5. Project management report meetings/administrative duties.
Required
6. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in Real Estate-related fields.
7. Real estate-related Licensing/Certifications (. broker, agent, property title, escrow, attorney,, or equivalent certification in. country.
8. Four (4) – six (6) years of demonstrated expertise in real estate transactions, including site identification and analysis, negotiations, contracts, leases, site evaluations, appraisals, title reports, property closings and applicable governmental requirements.
9. Computer skills include advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
10. High command in English language. German and other European languages are an advantage.
11. This position has the possibility to work remotely in Europe Central.
