What you’ll do
You’ll own critical areas of our developer-first database platform and drive the full product lifecycle—from identifying user problems to delivering scalable, impactful solutions. You’ll work across discovery and delivery, validate ideas, shape product direction, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ship meaningful improvements that affect thousands of developers using Prisma.
* Understand users deeply: conduct research to uncover values, pain points, and unmet needs across the user base.
* Validate rigorously: test hypotheses and gather insights through interviews, prototypes, and experiments.
* Design for impact: prioritize opportunities based on business and product KPIs.
* Shape solutions: collaborate on design, architecture, and developer experience to build clear, intuitive features.
* Lead execution: align engineering, design, and marketing to ensure quality and timely delivery.
* Own the outcomes: track success, share learnings, and refine based on measurable results post-launch.
You’ll report to a senior product leader and work with a strong team of engineers. A technical background and understanding of database technology are advantageous.
Ideal Candidate
We expect the right candidate to meet a majority of the following criteria:
* 3-5 years of product management experience, with developer-focused products or a technical background
* Experience conducting user research, including planning studies, surveys, and interviews
* Experience with database and backend technologies (e.g., TypeScript, databases) and familiarity with cloud services and APIs; developer tooling is a plus
* Strong quality standards with the ability to balance pragmatism, purpose, ownership, and impact; clear communication with diverse audiences
* Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal; ability to articulate complex ideas and foster cross-team collaboration
* Structured thinking, methodical problem-solving, goal setting, risk anticipation, and stakeholder alignment
