Low Voltage System Assembly (LVSA) – Post‑Order Engineering Lead (m/f/d) Location: Schrems, Austria
The main focus of this position is to lead and develop the electrical and mechanical engineering team to deliver high‑quality, standardized, production‑ready LVSA designs, ensure on‑time IFC release, and coordinate with manufacturing, testing, and project execution.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of electrical and mechanical engineers.
Balance workload across projects and build technical capability through mentoring.
Foster a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Ensure timely delivery of schematics, mechanical layouts, and complete EBOM packages.
Drive on‑time IFC release aligned with project milestones.
Monitor engineering KPIs – quality, rework, and productivity.
Ensure compliance with IEC standards and internal engineering guidelines.
Establish and enforce design rules to minimise errors and late changes.
Develop and maintain reusable design templates, modular components, and engineering standards.
Drive efficiency through reuse, modularisation, and digital tools.
Ensure strong alignment with Project/Order Managers, Work Preparation, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production & Test Engineering.
Support resolution of technical issues during assembly and FAT.
Oversee customer and internal engineering changes (ECR/ECO), ensuring controlled updates to drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
Analyse engineering issues and feedback to drive improvements in design quality and processes.
Qualifications and Skills
Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
5+ years in LV switchgear design engineering within a project‑based or industrial manufacturing environment.
Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.
Strong understanding of LVSA architecture, system design, and manufacturing constraints.
Knowledge of IEC 61439 standards and project execution processes.
Familiarity with engineering tools (e.g., EPLAN Electric P8) is an advantage.

What We Offer
A performance‑oriented remuneration of approximately EUR 70,000 gross per year, paid in 14 monthly instalments (overpayment above this amount is possible depending on qualifications and experience).
