At Group Markets Compliance, we ensure that Erste Group complies with key capital markets regulations across Austria and CEE. As a Markets Compliance Analyst, you will join the second line of defense and gain hands-on experience in MiFID / WAG, Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and Personal Account Dealing (PAD) – working closely with experienced compliance experts, local teams, and IT.
Your Tasks
10. Support the execution of markets compliance controls (e.g. MiFID/WAG, MAR, PAD, conflicts of interest)
11. Assist in maintaining and improving group-wide control frameworks, documentation, and reporting standards
12. Work together with local compliance teams and first-line stakeholders in an international setup
13. Support data checks, process improvements, and system-supported compliance workflows
14. Contribute to reviews, internal presentations, guidance material, and training input
Your Background
15. University degree and first professional experience in compliance, capital markets, law, audit, or a regulatory environment
16. Basic understanding of capital markets products and regulatory topics and a strong motivation to learn
17. Curiosity for data, tools, workflows, and compliance-related IT systems
18. Structured, reliable working style and willingness to take responsibility
19. Motivation to work in an international, collaborative setting
20. Very good English skills and basic German

27. The minimum wage for this full-time position according to the collective agreement is EUR 44.860,76 gross per year. Of course, your actual salary will be agreed individually – we are happy to discuss this in person.
