As a Senior Data Engineer in Risk Management, you willRedesign and automate the provisioning of high-quality, reliable data for risk models and BI applicationsBuild and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, Apache Spark, and Databricks, integrated with local database systemsCollaborate with model developers, BI analysts, and risk experts to understand data needs and ensure seamless data deliveryImplement daily data monitoring and validation routines to ensure data integrity and early detection of anomaliesEnsure compliance with internal data governance and regulatory expectationsDrive automation, standardization, and reusability across the data lifecycleDocument technical solutions and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Your ProfileDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field5+ years of experience in data engineering, ideally in a risk, finance, or BI contextStrong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Apache SparkHands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Azure or similar cloud platformsSolid understanding of how data supports risk modeling, analytics, or business intelligenceExperience with data quality monitoring, automated testing, and alerting frameworksPragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on automation and operational excellenceExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a regulated environment
