For the area of Commercial Textile, located in Lenzing, Upper Austria, or in Turkey, we invite Textile/Filament experts to submit applications for the role of Global Sales Manager Filament
Purpose & key responsibilities of the role
You will ensure budgeted volume placement and price achievement with a balanced customer portfolio; and develop & deliver volume ramp up for expansions
You will identify and capture short-/mid-/long-term growth opportunities across customers, products, use segments, regions and applications
You will develop go-to-market strategies for new products within product- and application development projects
You will work in collaboration with Regional BD, Global Marketing and Global Key Accounts to promote Lenzing filament at brand and retail level
You will maintain up-to-date planning and actual customer data in the CRM, and collaborate with the filament team, and global & regional commercial functions
You will lead and develop a team, reinforcing commercial and technical excellence
Your ideal profile for this exciting role
You hold a degree in Textile or Business Management and have at least 10 years total commercial experience, with a minimum of 5 years in sales in the textile industry (ideally in cellulosic filament yarn)
You have good technical downstream knowledge on yarn treatments and fabric production
You have a strong track record of identifying market opportunities, product introduction, positioning, marketing & branding, and scaling up the business
You have excellent commercial skills and sound financial understanding, outstanding networking and negotiation skills, and a strong ability to develop & maintain customer relationships
You have strong leadership skills and high level of intercultural awareness; and you have English language skills at level B2 or equivalent
A willingness to travel is essential, as the role involves up to 50% travel
