Your mission at Savity:
* Bring your development experience to our Kotlin/Java and Spring-based (micro)services
* Contribute to the evolving architecture of our platform, playing an active role in design decisions and the adoption of new technologies & AI
* Take ownership of core components and drive initiatives to keep them scalable and reliable, ensuring smooth production operations
* Keep technical debt low to stay future-proof for the next growth phase and enable fast integration of new partners
* Apply test automation, CI/CD, and state-of-the-art engineering practices to maintain a clean, high-quality codebase
* Work with a cross-functional team and participate in all stages of development, creating a direct impact on our product
* Mentor a growing team on clean coding principles, code quality, and code reviews
Your core competencies:
* Proven track record in Java/JVM-based software development, relational databases, and web technologies
* Deep understanding of RESTful API design and experience in engineering decoupled architectures (event-driven, DDD, microservices, etc.)
* Passion for writing clean, well-tested code with a mindset for continuous improvement and refactoring
* You know what it takes to build critical production systems that come with elevated requirements for security and resilience
* Demonstrated experience in a similar senior software engineering role
* You enjoy approaching tasks with a startup mentality and agility, combined with technical excellence
Nice to Have:
* You’re a Spring Boot expert who has worked extensively with JPA/Hibernate, containers, and 12-factor app principles
* Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes) and modern DevOps principles (IaC, GitOps)
* Deep understanding of modern protocols and web standards like OIDC, OAuth2, and OpenAPI
* You bring expertise from the FinTech domain (such as banking or securities processing) or a similarly regulated, sensitive industry
* Practical experience with our tech stack: Kotlin, PostgreSQL, Spring Cloud, Swagger, Keycloak, K8s, Argo CD, AWS EKS/SQS/S3/IAM
