For our location in Klagenfurt/Austria, which specializes in the development of wind turbines, we are offering the following position:
Electrical Systems Design Engineer (m/f/d)
Your tasks
* Translate customer requirements and market needs into technical solutions
* Define product requirements, technical specifications and electrical schematics
* Develop electrical system architectures and concepts for new products
* Design electrical systems including power and control cabinet layouts with PLC integration
* Create circuit diagrams using EPLAN software, including bill of materials and technical documentation
* Validate concepts and verify designs to ensure regulatory and certification compliance
* Build, test and validate prototypes both in-house and at manufacturing sites
* Support product launch activities and ensure handover to manufacturing and operations
Your profile
* University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
* Proven experience in electrical and/or mechatronic system design
* Experience in product development, prototyping and testing
* Knowledge of EPLAN for electrical schematics
* Good understanding of regulatory and certification requirements
* Experience with control cabinet design is an advantage
* A self‑motivated, responsible, and organized working style with the ability to manage tasks independently
* Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
* Willingness to travel internationally for business assignments, up to 20% of the time

Salary
