Global Podcast Leader
Lead the development of impactful podcast content that aligns with brand values.
This role plays a key part in advancing audio initiatives by creating impact in three core areas:
1. Owned Podcasts/Vodcasts: Develop engaging content that resonates with audiences.
2. 3rd Party Podcast Collaboration: Work closely with teams to identify and build strong relationships with external podcasts, amplifying key projects and reaching new audiences.
3. Global Audio Strategy: Engage teams to make an impact in audio through owned podcasts, supporting athletes and creators, or collaborating with 3rd party podcasts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing owned podcasts/vodcasts and collaborating with 3rd party podcasts.
* Expanding the network of Athlete and Creator-led Podcasts.
* Working closely with producers on ideation, development, and production of podcast formats.
* Providing training and showcasing best-in-class examples.
* Partnering with teams to implement an optimal strategy for working with existing podcasters.
Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in the podcast industry.
* Production experience on successful podcast/vodcast production.
* Strategy and Benchmarking skills, identifying trends and scoping out opportunities in the audio landscape.
* Able to support and provide consultation to markets and entities on their audio needs and ambitions.
* Good network within the audio space, including production companies, networks, marketing & PR, hosts, and platforms.
* Ability to foster and build relationships.
* Ability to represent audio and consult in the area to the wider business.
As an advocate for audio across the Global Media Network, you will work with HQ teams to define standards, share expertise, and identify opportunities in the audio space.
This is a maternity cover position for two years, based in Salzburg, Austria.
