PURPOSE OF JOB
We are seeking a Data and Insights Analyst to play a key role in supporting and shaping the live dashboard environment for the Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP). This is an exciting opportunity to work across delivery teams, enhance program metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations that influence strategic decisions.
This position can be based out of our Adelaide – Osborne location with flexible work arrangements such as working a 9‑day fortnight and a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities include
* Develop and establish live dashboard environments for HCFP.
* Collaborate with delivery teams to refine program metrics and KPIs.
* Define and document business requirements, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
* Design solutions with cross‑functional teams to meet business needs.
* Coordinate and compile program performance reporting in line with objectives and quality standards.
* Participate in project review meetings and provide actionable insights.
* Deliver recommendations based on data analysis to support decision‑making.
About You
You are a proactive problem‑solver with strong analytical skills and a passion for turning data into meaningful insights. You thrive in collaborative environments and have experience managing projects and engaging stakeholders.
* Proven experience in a similar Data and Insights Analyst role.
* Expertise in dashboard development (Power BI, Tableau).
* Advanced knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and techniques for data analysis and visualization.
* Experience delivering discrete project outcomes in low‑complexity environments.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
* Excellent writing and presentation skills for management‑level reporting.
* Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
* Active defence clearance or the eligibility to obtain a clearance.
