from EUR 43.000,00 (for 38h, full time) for Vienna based roles, market rates apply elsewhere

About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Video Coordinator to lead our video production efforts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Brand Content to oversee the creation of compelling video content that resonates with diverse audiences. You will also provide training and technical support to our content producers while managing the editing and distribution of video materials aligned with our yearly content plan.
Your tasks
Video Production Planning (40%)
Collaborate with the Head of Brand Content to plan video productions tailored to specific target groups and objectives.
Maintain an organized overview of responsibilities and processes for video production.
Set clear standards, timeframes, and deliverables for video projects.
Coordinate production efforts with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ensure accountability for final video products and their timely delivery.
Serve as the main point of contact for agencies and freelancers on video-related topics.
Advocate for the importance of video content within the organization.
Training, Capacity-Building, and Technical Support (30%)
Develop comprehensive guidance documents for content producers on video production best practices.
Assist in scouting and identifying videographers in Light for the World's Programme countries.
Act as a resource for Country Communications Officers /Managers (CCO*Ms) regarding video-related inquiries.
Provide video training sessions to CCOs and colleagues as time permits.
Video Editing and Distribution (30%)
Process raw and general video content in alignment with the yearly content plan.
Create B-roll footage for content packages available on CANTO.
Share video content proactively within the organization and respond to ad-hoc requests.
Edit videos for specific purposes, ensuring high-quality production standards.
Your profile
Passionate about ethical storytelling, content creation, and video editing & production.
Proven experience in video editing and production, with a strong portfolio.
Strong Project Management Skills And Experience Coordinating Video Projects.
Willingness to share, acquire and develop skills and knowledge.
Proficient in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and familiar with various video formats.
Understanding of the unique requirements for different communication channels (e.g., social media, fundraising) and cultures (e.g. European and African countries).
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German; proficiency in French or Portuguese is a plus.
Knowledge of accessibility in content production is desirable.
Experience or interest in working within an international, multi-cultural environment.
