We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the planning, delivery, and monitoring of traffic management works across multiple projects.
This role is critical to ensuring jobs are correctly scoped, compliant, and efficiently resourced. You will work closely with clients, road authorities, councils, and internal teams to ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs), and all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and oversee traffic management works across multiple job sites
Review and manage the implementation of TMPs and TGSs
Prepare and submit permit, approval, and consent applications and manage them through to approval
Liaise with clients, councils, road authorities, and other stakeholders
Coordinate daily traffic control operations, including field staff, subcontractors, plant, and assets
Conduct site inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
Attend client meetings and site visits to confirm scope, staging, and site-specific requirements
Support the operations team and contribute to continuous improvement across the business
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Traffic Control as an Operations Manager
Strong understanding of TMPs, TGSs, hazard identification, and risk assessment
Knowledge of AGTTM, industry awards, codes of practice, and relevant Act's and standards
Understanding of end-to-end project management
Experience working within Quality, Safety, and Environmental (QSE) systems
Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously without micro-management
Ability to integrate effectively into the existing Operations Management Team
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think laterally
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail

Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Current Driver Licence (manual preferred)
