Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Schrems, Austria
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and assemblies in low voltage applications.
* This role ensures that all LVSA products meet performance, quality, and safety standards, while supporting manufacturing efficiency and continuous improvement.
Design & Development
* Develop and optimize electrical designs for LVSA products, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and layouts.
* Select components (switchgear, breakers, relays, busbars, control devices) according to technical, quality, and cost requirements.
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC, UL, NFPA, etc.).
Manufacturing Support
* Provide technical guidance to production and assembly teams.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during assembly and testing.
* Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers and System Engineers to ensure seamless integration of components.
Quality & Compliance
* Validate designs through testing, simulation, and prototyping.
* Review products to ensure adherence to safety regulations and internal quality policies.
* Participate in root‑cause analysis for defects or failures and implement corrective actions.
Process & Continuous Improvement
* Work with Process Engineers to streamline manufacturing steps and reduce assembly time.
* Recommend design changes to improve product reliability, manufacturability, and cost‑effectiveness.
We Would Like You To Bring
* Technical education (with focus on electrical engineering)
* Practical experience with electrical design of electrical circuits (low voltage systems)
* Good English skills
* Strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems, protection devices, and control circuits.
* Experience with testing equipment and measurement tools
