The role is a Key Finance Business partner to the Engineering and Digital departments, providing financial oversight and driving performance transparency across the group
Own and ensure accuracy of Engineering & Digital financial closing, including validation of accruals, cost allocations, and capitalization logic, in full compliance with Group Controlling standards
Lead financial planning and forecasting cycles for Engineering & Digital, including operational reviews and close alignment with Engineering leadership, Group FP&A, and other Finance teams
Independently validate planning assumptions, differentiate most likely vs. best-case scenarios, and proactively identify financial risks, constraints and improvement opportunities
Act as a trusted finance business partner to Engineering & Digital management, providing constructive challenge and decision-oriented recommendations
Drive financial transparency across Engineering & Digital, identify cost optimization levers and support informed decision-making through structured financial analyses
Perform financial validation of R&D programs, including guidance on cost capitalization criteria and accounting treatment
Support the annual R&D funding submissions to Austrian state authorities (FFG), ensuring financial accuracy, consistency and compliance
Contribute to the redesign of BI and KPI reporting for Engineering & Digital, enabling scalable, transparent and insightful reporting solutions
Continuously improve controlling processes, tools and governance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Achelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
Relevant professional experience in controlling, finance, or accounting, ideally within an industrial, engineering, or technology-driven environment
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to link financial outcomes to operational performance drivers and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Confident communicator with assertiveness and stakeholder management skills, experienced in working across functions and management levels
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel; experience with financial systems and BI tools advantageous
Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with recurring peak periods during closing and planning cycles
