Join us at an exciting time as we ramp up a brand-new Repair Center in Linz! We are looking for a Senior Specialist to lead the digitalization strategy, define and implement process excellence, and lay the foundation for the use of AI, machine learning, and digital twin technologies. In this key role, you’ll shape how digital tools, data, and innovation drive operational excellence from day one.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Drive the digital setup and process mapping during the ramp-up phase of the Repair Center.
2. Identify, evaluate, and implement digital solutions that enhance process transparency, quality, and productivity.
3. Lead initiatives that integrate AI, machine learning, and digital twin concepts into operations and predictive maintenance strategies.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, operations, and quality) to deliver scalable and sustainable digital transformation projects. Define KPIs and establish data pipelines and dashboards to track and optimize operational performance.
5. Act as the digitalization focal point for the Repair Center and interface with global digital strategy teams.
6. Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and promote a culture of innovation and excellence.
What You Bring
7. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
8. Several years of experience in digital transformation, operational excellence, or smart manufacturing
9. Proven track record in implementing process improvements and deploying digital solutions in production or service environments
10. Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, with hands-on experience in data analytics, modeling, digital twins, and integrating automation/data/low-code platforms to optimize workflows and deliver actionable insights
11. Experience with process mapping, Lean/Six Sigma tools, and managing cross-functional digital projects
12. Fluent in English and German
