As a Product Specialist within the Syneos Health–Client team, you will play a key role in supporting the launch of a product across your assigned region. Your core responsibility is to build awareness of the product’s value in treating insomnia, primarily engaging with psychiatrists and neurologists in both primary and secondary care settings. You will identify and engage relevant healthcare professionals, drive change within current treatment pathways, and act as the lead orchestrator of the local customer journey. The role includes developing regional business plans to drive uptake, managing field activities and travel, and selecting the most effective channels for HCP engagement – whether in person or remote. You will lead data-driven, value-based conversations and help shape the product’s success in a complex launch environment.
Responsibilities
* Coverage of an agreed territory; identify and develop HCP value-based interactions using approved materials/media, along with company data and insights to proactively interact across primary and secondary care whilst ensuring alignment to national and regional launch strategy.
* Deliver interactions with competency and quality, building a strong differentiated approach to customer interactions.
* Create, adapt and deliver on a well-defined business plan within budget and agreed timelines.
* Deliver sales, activity and other key performance metrics as deemed suitable.
* Complete the required distance learning and any initial and subsequent training programmes necessary to undertake the role.
* Use of Veeva CRM to support planning, targeting, segmentation, sequential selling, territory analysis and administration to the desired level of quality.
* Provide periodic qualitative feedback on the effectiveness of communication and detailing support materials and on main objections from HCPs.
* Present clinical, financial, and value-based solutions using approved materials to key decision makers within the therapeutic area.
* Educate healthcare professionals on the safe, appropriate, and effective use of the product to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Identify HCPs with a special interest in insomnia to support advocacy and assess their importance to the local business.
* Assess local opportunities and present prudent business cases to line manager for additional support or investment consideration.
* Develop long-term business relationships with HCPs with an interest in insomnia.
* Collaborate with team members at regional and national meetings to drive a culture of collaboration and share best practices.
* Work closely with the client’s MSL team to organise round tables and develop regional experts.
* Share insights on market dynamics and competitor activity with marketing and other stakeholders.
* Manage consents and communicate through multiple channels, including digital channels.
* Comply with all Syneos Health and Client SOPs and codes of ethical practice; ensure activity is compliant with local rules and regulations.
Qualifications
Education: Fulfils legal requirements for medical reps in country, University Degree – Life Sciences preferred, Valid driver’s license required.

Skills & Experience:
* Experience within Primary Care / Secondary Care Sales with demonstrable success.
* Product launch experience desirable, especially in CNS and/or Neurology.
* Current relationships with HCPs with an interest in insomnia; Primary Care GPs, Psychiatrists and Neurologists are advantageous.
* Previous experience selling within CNS/Neurology/Psychiatry preferred.
* Experience applying a multi-channel approach including e-detailing, remote calls and other digital approaches (omnichannel).
* Enthusiastic, high energy, team-oriented with a can-do attitude; entrepreneurial mindset.
* Strong selling and communication skills; ability to challenge status quo to deliver results.
* Strong territory business planning, management and organisational skills; capable of completing planning and administration.
* Analytical thinking and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to utilise Veeva CRM with Engage and other digital resources to achieve sales targets cost-effectively.
* Willingness to collaborate and share best practice with the team.
We offer a competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement, starting at EUR 50,000 annual gross salary.
