We are strengthening our global ceramic laboratory team in Steyr, Austria: Materials Engineer Global Ceramic Laboratory (m/f/d) Your responsibilities * Assessment & qualification of new / alternative ce ramic materials, visual inspection and failure analysis of ceramic components * Implementation of new mechanical testing tech niques for ceramic materials * Support local and global technology development projects in the field of hybrid bearings * Distribute competence of established ceramic com ponent inspection methods and support the devel opment of complementary / automated inspection technologies Your profile * University degree (preferably Materials Science) with knowhow in ceramic materials technology (material properties, microstructure, sintering, grinding, etc.) * Excellent command of English & willingness to work in international teams * Ability to travel, open communicator, team player * Self structured and target oriented working attitude * Quality knowledge and interest in project manage ment are advantageous * Industrial experience and computer skills are advan tageous SKF is committed to creating a diverse environment, and we firmly believe that a diverse workforce is essential for our continued success.
