About this Position
Lead and shape the European co-packing landscape by combining technical leadership, strategic ownership, and people development, while driving high-impact projects, strong external representation, and continuous performance improvements in close collaboration with Procurement — based in Vienna or Düsseldorf.
What you´ll do
* Technically lead the European co-packing team and ensures that the team completes initiatives and projects on time, on budget, and in accordance with quality standards
* Define and manage the strategy in line with the established business plan, including resource planning to achieve objectives and reporting on R&D activities
* Develop team members regarding required competences and personal targets
* Represent the team in relevant projects and decision committees.
Represent Henkel at various associations, conferences or congresses
* Monitor and improve co-packer performance across capacity, cost, sustainability, safety, and efficiency, driving continuous improvement
* Support Procurement in sourcing and contracting co-packers while ensuring regulatory and logistical compliance
* Location: Vienna or Düsseldorf
What makes you a good fit
* University graduates in the field of mechanical-, packaging- or plastic engineering. Alternatively experienced technician in the disciplines of packaging management and development
* Fluent English language skills, German and other languages are advantageous
* Basic knowledge on sustainability aspects of packaging
* Firm knowledge of MS-Office applications
* Self-motivated, creative and open-minded team-player with high level of independence
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and eagerness to learn
