Project Administrator
Location: Site-Based
Salary: £42,000 – £52,000 + Company Car + Package
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Our client is a leading technical construction and engineering partner delivering complex, high-value projects across sectors including Data Centres, Advanced Manufacturing, Logistics, Food and Pharmaceuticals. With a strong international presence and a reputation for delivering turnkey projects safely and efficiently, they are looking to appoint a Project Administrator to support their growing project team.
This is a site-based position offering excellent exposure to large‑scale construction projects, working closely with senior leadership and project management teams.
The Role
The Project Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of site operations by supporting administrative, compliance, and logistical activities across the project.
You will act as a central point of contact on site, ensuring documentation, reporting, compliance and coordination tasks are managed efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Site Administration
Act as the site point of contact for internal departments and external vendors on administrative and logistical matters
Manage incoming calls, emails and visitors in a professional manner
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
Support the preparation and tracking of employee attendance and absence records
Coordinate office and operational supplies including PPE, equipment and access systems
Ensure company procedures and documentation standards are consistently applied
Project Support
Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to Project Managers, engineers and site teams
Assist with compliance documentation and internal database management
Support audit preparation and on‑site compliance inspections
Liaise with subcontractors to ensure documentation is complete and up to date
Assist in the implementation of health & safety procedures in collaboration with the EHS team
Support review of risk assessments and method statements
Maintain quality control documentation and procedures
Liaise with procurement and logistics teams to support timely material deliveries
Make recommendations for administrative and process improvements
About You
Previous experience within construction, engineering or large project environments
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with site teams and subcontractors
Experience supporting audits, compliance inspections or regulated environments
Professional, discreet and able to operate within high‑security project settings
Strong IT skills and confident managing documentation systems
