Logistics Manager – Transport Operations | Dangerous Goods | Executive Leadership

Morrows Logistics is entering its next phase of growth and we are looking for a Logistics Manager to take full ownership of our transport operation.
This is not a maintenance role. It is a build-and-elevate role.
You will be responsible for the entire transport function across fleet, compliance, performance and customer delivery. You will be supported by an experienced Operations Manager and a capable team, but the standard, the direction and the results sit with you.

The Opportunity
The operation is established and stable. The next phase is optimisation, structure, discipline and growth.
Your mandate will include:
* Full leadership of transport operations across fleet, scheduling and regional network performance
* Ownership of compliance, Chain of Responsibility and Dangerous Goods transport requirements
* Strengthening safety systems and operational discipline
* Driving measurable improvements in service levels, utilisation and cost control
* Building a leadership culture across supervisors, planners and drivers
* Creating clarity in standards, accountability and expectations
* Developing strong, commercial relationships with key customers
Customer relationships are central to this role. You will engage directly with customers, understand their operational pressures and ensure our service delivery is consistent, professional and performance-driven. You will represent the operation externally and build long-term trust.
This role carries real authority. It also carries real accountability.

What We Are Looking For
* Proven leadership experience in transport, logistics or supply chain operations
* Strong knowledge of regional transport networks
* Demonstrated experience managing Dangerous Goods compliance
* Deep understanding of transport legislation and operational risk
* A leader who sets high standards and follows through
* Commercial awareness with the ability to balance service, safety and profitability
* Ambition to grow with the business and take ownership at a senior level
