The challenge.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager, primarily responsible for generating and following up sales leads in the Benelux, in close cooperation with Marketing.
Your main tasks are:
* Proactive acquisition, follow-up and guidance of sales leads and assess applications/leads on (commercial) feasibility;
* Actively participating in various networks and help shape the annual agenda with regard to customer events, trade shows, online networks, etc., to ensure sufficient input into the sales pipeline;
* Leading sales projects, which often have a longer lead time, in close cooperation with the assigned (international) project team;
* Developing and quoting project offers, making sales presentations and leading sales workshops at the customer;
* Developing and expanding the professional network;
* Preparing and supervising (international) reference visits;
* Managing the Marketing Specialist;
* 30%-60% business travel (mainly Benelux and Austria).

What you bring.
* A completed Master or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical-commercial direction;
* 4-7 years of work experience in a similar position, preferably within a logistics environment;
* Good communication skills in Dutch and English, German is an advantage;
* Customer and solution-oriented, persuasive, organizational and communication skills;
* Is committed, reliable, has a sense of responsibility and can work both independently and in a team.
