Responsibilities
* Providing resource and time estimates for intralogistics software solutions of our existing customers
* Elaboration of optimization potentials of existing software solutions of our customers
* Creating software designs and coding software solutions
* Source code reviews and developer tests
* Software documentation and creating test reports
* Fix software errors
* Holding workshops (customers, suppliers, etc.)
* Implementation of software change requests
* Assisting live operation remotely and/or on-site at our international customers' premises
* Implementation of project preparations
* Ongoing, independent development within the team
* Training and coaching of new colleagues
Requirements
* Educational background with specialization in the field of IT or technology advantageous
* Experience in software development and object-oriented programming (Java advantageous)
* Understanding of relational databases (MS, SQL, Oracle, etc.)
* Practical knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems advantageous
* Knowledge of network technology
* Experience with common development environments and with GIT and Gerrit advantageous
* Good command of English
* Ability to work independently, team player, and sense of responsibility
* Willingness to travel abroad (approx. 15% of annual working hours)

The minimum salary for this position according to the Collective Agreement is € 3,724.-- for 38.5 hours/week. However, we offer a competitive salary depending on relevant professional experience and qualifications.
