About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Manager to join our jewellery store in Brisbane North. This is a full‑time leadership opportunity suited to someone who thrives in retail management, loves fine jewellery, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
Working closely with the Store Manager, you will support the day‑to‑day operations of the store, lead the retail team, and oversee the workshop front desk and jewellery repair process. Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing the day‑to‑day operations of a busy jewellery retail store.
Lead, support, and motivate the retail sales team to achieve performance and service targets.
Deliver outstanding customer service and build long‑term customer relationships.
Oversee the workshop front desk, including jewellery repairs, quotations, and workflow management.
Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues proactively.
Manage staff rostering, approve hours, and optimise team productivity.
Maintain stock control, inventory accuracy, and reporting.
Quote jewellery manufacturing and repairs with attention to detail.
Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation meet brand standards.
Prepare monthly sales and product performance reports.
About You
You are a confident and hands‑on retail leader with a genuine passion for jewellery and people.
Essential Experience & Skills
Minimum 2 years' experience in an Assistant Manager, Store Manager, or similar retail leadership role.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a retail team.
Strong background in customer service within a retail environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Specific experience in jewellery, luxury retail, or specialty retail.
Reliable, professional, and aligned with a family‑focused team culture.
Jewellery technical skills such as battery fitting or minor repairs.
Experience working with jewellery workshops or repair services.
