Job Description
International procurement of custom-made parts in compliance with technical specifications and economic conditions
Conducting price and contract negotiations
Development and implementation of procurement strategies for specific commodity groups
Selection, evaluation, consolidation, and management of suppliers
Effective communication with suppliers and internal departments, as well as handling of complaints
Ensuring continuous supply
Close collaboration with Research & Development, Quality Assurance, and Production Planning
Ongoing optimization of procurement processes and activities
Qualifications
Completed technical education in mechanical engineering or commercial education with additional technical qualification (apprenticeship, technical college, or university)
Professional experience in international technical purchasing is essential (preferably with low-cost countries)
Sound technical understanding
Legal knowledge and SAP skills are an advantage
Excellent German and English skills
Strong business mindset combined with high social competence
Independent, structured, and quality-conscious way of working
Strong communication and teamwork skills
