Health & Safety Manager (f/m/d)
Your Tasks
* Assist and manage alongside the Health & Safety Team the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of all health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures throughout Wienerberger.
* Continually sustain awareness of amended or new legislation and local health & safety laws that may affect our operations, ensuring this is effectively communicated to local management teams.
* Maintain and promote a healthy and safe working culture across Wienerberger.
* Undertake and support investigations for accidents, incidents, significant occurrences and near misses, as or when requested by local country management hierarchy ensuring root cause(s) are identified accurately.
* Collate and analyse accident and incident statistics along with recommending intervention strategies; to eliminate or reduce the risk of future occurrences.
* Contribute to the design, development, and production of training materials, documents, and manuals to ensure consistency and quality of content meet the specific needs of the local organisations.
* Promote and raise awareness of “Good Practice” within the regional management team (not limited to H&S).
* Undertake regular audits and workplace/area inspections to proactively identify where site and local management practices can be improved and further supported.
* Liaise with enforcement agencies, external bodies on all matters relating to Wienerberger operational activities.
* Provide assistance to the Health & Safety Team in maintaining effective working relationships with all Wienerberger Directors, Managers, Employees, Trade Unions, Contractors, Partners, or other Stakeholders.
Your Profile
* Significant experience in managing multiple country teams.
* The ability to engage and inspire across diverse sites within different cultures.
* A demonstrable track‑record of delivering health & safety strategy and positive cultural change.
* Degree or Diploma level qualification in health & safety.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders of all levels successfully.
* Flexible and adaptable – able to travel to multiple regions and countries as required.
* Strong organisational & planning skills.
* Fluent in English, German is an advantage.
* Able to work independently when required.
* Able to demonstrate a sufficient understanding along with a proven background in specific health & safety topics.
