Our client, a leading company based in Salzburg, specializes in advanced automation systems for defense applications. They are looking for an Automation Technician (m/f/d) with experience in Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC to support complex projects within a stable and innovative industry.
The role involves working in a dynamic environment focused on delivering high-quality solutions in the defense sector.
* PLC programming for complex automation systems, with a preference for Siemens solutions.
* Working with Profinet/Profibus bus systems for seamless integration.
* Collaborating on the design, development, and maintenance of automation solutions using Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC.
* Troubleshooting, optimizing, and ensuring the functionality of automation systems.
* International commissioning of automation systems with travel opportunities ranging from 10-35% (with the possibility of more depending on your preferences).
* Providing technical expertise and support for international projects.
* Strong experience in automation technology.
* Expertise in PLC programming, preferably with Siemens systems (TIA Portal).
* Knowledge of Profinet/Profibus bus systems.
* Good English skills (required). German skills are a plus but not mandatory.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in an international and fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to travel internationally for commissioning projects.
* Starting from €60,000 gross per year (higher salary based on experience)
