Job Description
GE HealthCare in Zipf is seeking a dedicated individual to adopt an existing database solution to keep track of boards and other components of our medical device prototypes, ensuring a good overview of the inventory and accurate device history on demand.
The internship duration is 1-2 months in July and/or August of this year.
Internship Responsibilities
* Create specifications about the requirements of dedicated key users.
* Adopt the selected database solution to these requirements by writing plugins (Python) or using REST APIs.
* Perform tests to check the solution against the requirements.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for this database, focusing on efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
* Student (e.g., HTL, FH) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field.
* Proficiency in programming and database querying with Python and SQL.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent problem solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
* Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken).
Compensation
Salary based on collective agreement (KV Electro) according to your degree program and academic progress.
